The O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red's postseason begins with opening-round games this weekend.

East fifth seed Kaimukí (2-5) travels to West fourth seed and No. 9 Mililani (6-2), 7:30 tonight at John Kauinana Stadium.

Also, West fifth seed Campbell (3-5) will play at East fourth seed Kailua (3-5) at 7 p.m. tomorrow.

Both playoff games will be televised by OC 16.

The top three seeds from each division — Kahuku, Farrington and Castle from the East and Leilehua, Wai'anae and Kapolei from the West — have first-round byes.

The top three teams from the 10-team field will earn Division I state tournament berths.

The winner of Campbell-Kailua plays West top seed Leilehua, while the winner of Mililani-Kaimukí takes on East top seed Kahuku in quarterfinals next week. The other quarterfinals next week have Castle at Wai'anae (in the same bracket as Kahuku) and Kapolei playing Farrington at a site to be determined (same bracket as Leilehua).

The Trojans, who allowed 44 points in their first six games, have allowed 95 in their last two in losses to Kapolei and Wai'anae. They will face a Bulldogs team that won two of their last four to qualify for the playoffs. Kaimukí, coming off a 20-17 loss to Farrington, held the Governors scoreless in the second half.

Campbell, which won the White title last season, is facing a Kailua team that had a bye last week.

OIA WHITE

The OIA White closes out its regular season this weekend with its four playoff berths secured.

But Moanalua (7-1 overall, 7-0 White) and 'Aiea (7-1, 6-1) play for the conference's top seed tonight at Nä Menehune's stadium. The JV starts at 5 p.m. with the varsity to follow. The loser will be seeded second in the playoffs, which start next week.

Radford (5-2), which plays Waialua (2-5) tonight, has clinched third and Kaläheo (5-3), which has a bye, is fourth. Regardless of the outcomes, Radford's and Kaläheo's seeding will not change after all tiebreakers are considered.

ILH

The Interscholastic League of Honolulu's Division I teams begin their second go-around against each other with No. 10 Punahou (3-4, 3-2 ILH) taking on No. 4 Saint Louis (6-2, 3-2) 7:45 p.m. tomorrow at Aloha Stadium.

The Crusaders' only league losses were to their Division I rivals Punahou and Kamehameha. But Saint Louis is the only one among the three to beat Division II and previously unbeaten 'Iolani.

First-place and No. 2 Kamehameha (7-1, 4-1) has a bye.

The No. 7 Raiders (7-2, 5-1) can clinch the ILHDivision II title with a win against Pac-Five (5-3, 2-3) 5 p.m. tomorrow at Aloha Stadium. By clinching, the Raiders also would earn a DII state tournament berth.
