Clay to help kids reach physical fitness

Olympic gold medalist Bryan Clay will offer a free fitness clinic for boys and girls ages 7 to 18 Saturday at the University of Hawai'i Clarence T. Ching Athletics Complex.

The Kidfit Klinic, sponsored by Straub and the Bryan Clay Foundation, is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and test one's athleticism as well as enhances knowledge of health, fitness and nutrition.

Clay, a Castle High School alum, earned the title of "World's Greatest Athlete" by winning the decathlon at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Applications are being accepted and walk-ups are welcome. Space is limited. Consent forms are available at www.straubhealth.org For information, call 522-4479.

Check in 30 minutes prior to clinic. Athletic attire and shoes required.
