Hands-on activities — geared for students in grades 4 to 6 — to explore everyday chemistry will be featured at "Chemistry at the Mall," 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, in Windward Mall's center court.

In celebration of National Chemistry Week, members of the American Chemical Society-Hawai'i section will conduct demonstrations of chemistry applications. The event at the mall in Kane'ohe, 46-056 Kamehameha Highway, also includes a student art poster contest.
