HMSA donates $10K in disaster relief for Samoa, the Philippines

Advertiser Staff

The Hawaii Medical Service Association said it will donate $10,000 to help with flood recovery efforts in the Philippines and tsunami victims in American Samoa.

The donation will be broken into a $5,000 contribution to a storm relief fund at FilCom Center and the rest to the Bank of Hawaii American Samoa Relief Fund.
Our contribution is made in the hopes of easing their difficulties and also in recognition of the many HMSA members and staff who have families impacted by these recent disasters, said Bob Hiam, HMSA president and chief executive officer.
