Danielson named WAC Player of the Week; UH at No. 4 in poll

University of Hawai'i women's volleyball player Kanani Danielson was named Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week today.
It is the third WAC Player of the Week honor of the season for Danielson and the fourth of her career. She averaged 4.0 kills on .379 hitting in leading Hawai'i (13-2, 3-0 WAC) to wins at Louisiana Tech and New Mexico State last week.
Also today, the Rainbow Wahine remained at No. 4 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll. Hawai'i hosts Nevada on Thursday and San Jose State on Friday in a pair of WAC matches.
