Tickets are now on sale for HIFF Ohana members, including tickets for the Hawaii International Film Festival’s big night films, as well the “Lost” eventing event and “Lost” Master Class seminars.
Tickets go on sale for the general public on Monday.
HIFF is screening 177 international and independent films this year, including the highly acclaimed “Precious” that won the Audience Award at the Toronto Film Festival. Oprah Winfrey is among the movie’s biggest supporters.
The movie festival runs Oct. 15 through Oct. 25 at Regal Dole Cannery Cinemas.
Purchase tickets online at HIFF.org or call 548-5905 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. or purchase them in at the HIFF Box Office, located across the street from the Dole theaters.
Each movie is $10 for general admission, but there are discount packages available.
HIFF is also asking for help from movie buffs in picking the The Video on Demand Viewers Choice Award. Through Oct. 19, Ocean Tim Warner cable subscribers can turn to channels 680 and 681 to choose between nine films showing on NGN. (For more information, go to HIFF.org.)
