Individuals are again being asked to send a note of cheer to wounded soldiers being treated at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center during the holiday season.

The suggestion is that, as you prepare your Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa cards, you make one out to an unnamed soldier — wish them a speedy recovery, thank them for their service, share a word or two about yourself. Keep it light.
