Winter may be approaching, but Army Community Theatre’s latest production is all about summer.

“High School Musical 2,” based on the popular Disney movie series for tweens, picks up the story at the end of junior year as the Wildcats embark on a memorable summer.
The musical opened last night and continues at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through Dec. 12 at Richardson Theatre at Fort Shafter.
