FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — The New York Jets have been awarded tight end Martrez Milner off waivers from the Giants.

The Jets also waived offensive lineman Kyle Link and tight end Rob Myers on Wednesday.
Milner was a fourth-round pick of Atlanta in 2007 and had nine catches for 50 yards in eight games for the Falcons, including two starts. He was inactive for Atlanta’s first two games last season before being waived. The Giants signed him to their practice squad a week later and waived him last Thursday.
Link and Myers were both signed by the Jets as undrafted free agents on May 1.
