Six-time Grammy Award winner John Legend is coming to Hawaii for performances on Maui and Oahu, BAMP Project promoters announced today.

The soulful singer, songwriter, pianist and producer is closing out his Evolver World Tour with performances Sept. 10 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center and Sept. 12 at Blaisdell Concert Hall.
Tickets go sale at 10 a.m. Saturday for American Express cardmembers, Monday for Legend’s fan club members and June 6 for the general public.
Tickets for the Maui show are $65, $55, and $45. Blaisdell tickets are $99.50, $79.50, and $69.50.
Tickets available at all Ticketmaster locations, www.ticketmaster.com, the Blaisdell Box Office, Macy's and by calling 877-750-4400. For the Maui show, tickets can be purchased at the MACC Box office, www.mauiarts.org or charge by phone at 808-242-SHOW (7469).
Legend is a five-time platinum album selling music star responsible for three hit albums "Get Lifted," "Once Again" and "Evolver" with award-winning songs, "Ordinary People," "Used to Love U," "Green Light," "Save Room" and "Another Again."
Labeled by music critics as "one of the most compelling and important singer/songwriters of this generation," Legend founded the Show Me Campaign, a nonprofit charity organization to fund underdeveloped African villages. A portion of the proceeds from the Hawaii shows and the Evolver Tour will go to provide healthier living conditions for these villages, such as mosquito nets to curb the millions of avoidable deaths from malaria, free meals to children attending school and clean water sources.
The Evolver World Tour is traveling internationally with a full chorus line, orchestrated live music, and a solo piano performance by Legend himself.
