Honolulu police were looking for two men in connection with a robbery and stabbing in Kalihi yesterday morning.

A 35-year-old man was walking home when he was approached by two men who demanded his backpack, police said.

One of the men struck the victim several times, knocking him to the ground.

The other man stabbed the victim in the stomach and took his backpack and cell phone, police said.

The two men fled on foot. Both are believed to be in their 20s.

The victim was taken by ambulance to an area hospital.
