A a man in his 50s was killed in an an accident in Kaçaçawa at 1 p.m.on Kamehameha Highway, authorities said.

Injured was an adolescent female, who was in stable condition, and taken to the same a nearby hospital as the man who was pronounced dead, said Bryan Cheplic, city Emergency Services Department spokesman.
Details are sketchy, but police have closed Kamehameha Highway in both directions near the 7-Eleven at 51-0484 Kamehameha Highway. Traffic is being re-routed to Hiçiaka and Huamalani streets.
