Man's lifeless body pulled from waters off boat harbor
Firefighters recovered the lifeless body of a man from Kewalo Small Boat Harbor this morning.
Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city's emergency services department, said firefighters pulled the man from the water about 11:50 a.m.
Cheplic said the man, who appeared to be in his early 20s, was brought to shore and determined to dead at 12:23 p.m.
Capt. Terry Seelig, a Honolulu Fire Department spokesman, said firefighters responded to a call for a body floating in the harbor behind a fishing boat named "The Blue Sky."
Seelig said that the man had no signs of life when firefighters retrieved him.
