They last played in Boise in the 1995 NCAA tournament, losing in the second round to top-seeded UCLA 75-74 when Bruins point guard Ty Edney drove the length of the court for a buzzer-beating layup. In the win against Marquette, freshman Kim English had a 4½-minute shooting spree in the first half that turned a six-point deficit into a 16-point lead. He made three 3-pointers and scored 15 points during that stretch.
