CBKB: UConn women finish at No. 1 in AP poll

Unbeaten Connecticut has finished the regular season right where it started — No. 1.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma slips from No. 3 to No. 4 after losing to Texas A&M in the women's Big 12 conference tournament.
This is the second straight year the Huskies led The Associated Press women's basketball poll. UConn was a unanimous choice for the 16th straight week Monday. It has ended the season at No. 1 eight times.
UConn is 33-0 and will be a No. 1 seed when the NCAA tournament field is announced Monday night.
The Huskies were followed in the poll by Stanford, Maryland, Oklahoma and Baylor.
Tennessee continued its streak of appearing in every final poll, but had its worst finish at 18th. It ended a string of 22 straight seasons finishing in the top 10.
