Randy Schoening batted 4 for 4, Brittney Garcia batted 3 for 4, and Manuma, Brenda Gonsalves and Kyle Tavai each had two hits for the Sabers (2-0). The Chargers fell to 0-2.

WET WEATHER PREVAILS

Most high school events scheduled for yesterday on O'ahu were postponed because of the wet weather and field conditions.

The Interscholastic League of Honolulu said all of its baseball, softball and track and field events were postponed.

Most OIA softball and baseball games also were postponed. Some of the games have been rescheduled for tomorrow and Tuesday.
