The Honolulu Fire Department responded to three reports of flooding in the Date Street area near Kapahulu Avenue this morning.

An HFD spokesman described all the situations as minor. He said firefighters had to pump some water from one home on Palani Avenue from 5 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. but that the damage was not serious.

The National Weather Service forecast calls for heavy showers to continue today and tonight.
