A malfunctioning traffic signal is backing up traffic on Fort Weaver Road this evening.

Police report that the light is staying green longer for the side street, making the For Weaver Road green short and the red sequence longer.

Police are turning off the signal light and are directing traffic. It was unknown which of the three traffic signals on Fort Weaver was affected.
