State and county elected officials who represent the Makiki area will meet with residents tonight to discuss key issues.

The meeting will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at Makiki District Park.

The meeting is on the last day of the mandatory five-day recess of the 2009 legislative session and is sponsored by the Friends of Makiki Community Learning Center, Hui o Makiki. For more information, call 587-7242.
