Three men were injured late this morning when two of them fell at a construction site in Waikiki.
The incident occurred shortly before noon at a work site on Liliuokalani Avenue, said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department. Details are not available, but two men apparently were working when they fell about 30 feet, Cheplic said.
One of the men, who appeared to be in his 30s, was taken to the hospital in serious condition, while the other, who appeared to be in his 40s, was in stable condition, Cheplic said. A third male, apparently in his late teens, was struck by falling debris and was taken to the hospital in stable condition, he said.
The incident remains under investigation.
