400 households lose water in break of main pipe
About 400 households in Mililani were without water for much of yesterday because of a water main break at Waimakua Place and Wailawa Street.
The break in the 8-inch-diameter pipe was reported just before 7:30 a.m. Repairs were completed about 5 p.m.
About 100 houses and 300 apartments were affected. A water wagon was placed at 95-162 Waimakua Drive to provide potable water, said Kurt Tsue, Board of Water Supply spokesman.
