A 43-year-old Mililani man died in an apparent drowning this morning in a Mililani swimming pool, police said.

The man was identified by the Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office as Lonnie Shaw. The cause of death is pending an autopsy.
The man was found unresponsive in a swimming pool at 7:30 a.m. today. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, police said. The man was taken to a local area hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police do not suspect foul play.
