Nothing’s getting younger, but birthday parties are always fun.

The Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children continues its centennial celebration next month with a collection of events and programs for the entire community.

There will be a birthday celebration from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Honolulu Zoo on August 30. Free passes to the celebration are available in August at www.kapiolanigift.org or you can pay the regular zoo fees to join the party.

The birthday will be covered by Hawaii’s news stations on August 26, a live radiothon from August 27 to 28 and the “Kapiolani Story Project,” a call for patient stories for the centennial archives.
