If all your summer plans have been checked off your to-do list, from going to the carnival to watching the latest blockbuster, then go for something out of the ordinary — meeting local comic book artists.

Co-creators of the comic," nemu*nemu," will be at Borders Books at Music store in Ward Centre at 2 p.m. Saturday, where local artists Audra Furuichi and Scott Yoshinaga will hold their first official book signing and release the third volume of "nemu*nemu."

The comic follows the adventures of two girls and how their animate “stuffed dolls” changed their lives forever.

In volume three, follow the characters as they visit the neighborhood park, have a vacation in Hawaii and take an unexpected flight.

The online comic appears every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at www.nemu-nemu.com and monthly in the East Oahu Sun Newspaper.
