The accident was reported at 5:26 a.m. Police identified the man who died as 24-year-old Albert Laurdin, of Keau. Another man, 22, whose identity was not released was in stable condition, police said.
Officials said the car was traveling on Highway 19, on the Waimea side of the country club, when it went into a pasture, traveled about 40 yards and rolled over.
