Lusitana Street has been reopened between Auwailimu Street and Pauoa Road, but a contraflow has been set up in the area as crews work to repair damaged valves after a 16-inch water main broke yesterday.

Board of Water Supply crews repaired the broken 16-inch main at 1925 Lusitana Street last night.

Crews expect to complete the repairs and be off the road later this evening.
Fourteen homes were without water after the main broke about 4:30 a.m. yesterday.
