The Waipahu Festival Marketplace will hold a Chinese New Year celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow.

The festivities will feature a lion dance, martial arts demonstrations, fireworks and food booths.

The marketplace is located at 94-340 Waipahu Depot Road at the site of the Big Way Supermarket.

The marketplace, in conjunction with the Waipahu Community Association and Waipahu Weed & Seed, is also holding a workshop for those low income, wage-earning families eligible for the federal government's earned income tax credit from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.
