Big Island park to close for more than a week

Mohouli Park on the Big Island will be completely closed to the public from Wednesday until Jan. 23 due to removal of sidewalks and pathways.

There will be no safe access within the park during this period, county officials said.

The overall construction project is expected to be completed in March.
