A new online grocery shopping and delivery business has opened on Kaua'i.

Pono Foods LLC, owned by Dave Russell and Keri Bierman, serves the Kapa'a, Lihu'e, and the Po'ipu/Koloa region. The company's Web site is www.ponofoods.com.

Pono Foods offers more than 4,000 items that can be ordered online and delivered to the customer's door.

Groceries are delivered from 2 to 6 p.m., Monday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. Russell and Bierman say they plan to expand their hours soon.

The minimum order is $50, and the delivery fee is an additional $20.
