Melodrama, comedy, much song and dance fill the second annual Bollywood Film Festival at the Doris Duke Theatre, Honolulu Academy of Arts, today through Jan. 11

Tickets are $7 general, $6 students, seniors and military; $5 museum members; $3 children under 12.

  • "Om Shanti Om"

    Directed by Farah Khan; India, 2007, 168 minutes; in Hindi with English subtitles

    Superstar Om (Shah Rukh Khan) looks for the truth about his previous life and love in 1970s Bollywood.

  • "Chak de India" ("Go India!")

    Directed by Shimit Amin; India, 2007, 149 minutes; Hindi/English with English subtitles
