A free "Introductory Lectio Divina" workshop, which teaches the method of Lectio Divina as a way to pray the sacred scriptures, will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 17 at Central Union Church.

The workshop, led by Sharon and Savario Mungo of San Antonio, Texas, will be held at the church's women's building, 1660 S. Beretania St. Participants are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch.
