No. 21 Utah St. stays undefeated in WAC

MOSCOW, Idaho — Gary Wilkinson had 18 points and 10 rebounds and No. 21 Utah State escaped with a 62-53 victory over Idaho last night to extend the nation's longest winning streak to 19 games.
Jared Quayle added 12 points for the Aggies (24-1, 12-0), who clinched at least a share of their second straight Western Athletic Conference title.
Mac Hopson scored 17 points to lead Idaho (10-13, 4-6), which sought to beat a ranked opponent for the first time since 1982.
Utah State led 24-22 at intermission. Idaho tied it at 44 on Marvin Jefferson's basket, but Wilkinson followed with a 3-pointer to put the Aggies ahead for good.
NEVADA 80, SAN JOSE STATE 68
Junior forward Joey Shaw came off the bench to score 16 of his 23 points in the first half as the visiting Wolf Pack (14-10, 7-4) beat the Spartans (10-12, 4-7) for the 12th time in the past 13 meetings.

Kyle Gibson went 6 for 6 from 3-point range and scored 28 points, and host LaTech (9-15, 3-8) scored 14 points off 17 turnovers to turn back the Bulldogs (10-14, 2-7).
