Construction work on the Kalaeloa Boulevard-Kapolei Parkway intersection is expected to be completed by tomorrow.

The work is part of the first phase of improvements along Kalaeloa Boulevard being managed by Kalaeloa Property Development Co.

The first phase includes new lanes in all directions approaching the Kalaeloa-Kapolei intersection.

By tomorrow, Kapolei-bound motorists along Kalaeloa will be able to turn left onto the parkway via two new dedicated left-turn lanes.

Work will continue along Kalaeloa Boulevard near the railroad tracks through the end of March. Two lanes of traffic will be open in each direction, but motorists are advised to expect changes in traffic flow and drive cautiously through the area.

The end of the first phase will result in Kalaeloa Boulevard widening from four lanes to six between the H-1 interchange and the railroad tracks.
