SAN ANTONIO — Former U.S. swimming champion Josh Davis has reported four of his Olympic medals stolen.
Davis told San Antonio police his three gold medals from the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and a silver from the 2000 Sydney Games may have been swiped from his minivan last weekend.
Davis told the San Antonio Express-News that a reward of a "couple thousands bucks" will be given to the person who returns the medals.
Davis said he left the medals in his car Saturday after driving back from the airport, where he was returning from a youth swim clinic in St. Louis. He had taken the medals, all won in relay events, to show the students.
Davis also says he lost a silver medal about a year and a half ago and never found it.
