Soccer: Hawaii's Ching, Donovan lead US roster for World Cup qualifier

CHICAGO — Landon Donovan leads the list of 20 players practicing in preparation for the U.S. men's soccer team's World Cup qualifier against Mexico on Wednesday.
Haleiwa's Brian Ching, a Kamehameha alum, also is on the team.
Coach Bob Bradley announced the roster Sunday. Eighteen of the players participated in the first two rounds of World Cup qualifying last year.
A dozen come from foreign-based clubs, including captain Carlos Bocanegra and goalie Tim Howard.
The roster:
Goalkeepers: Brad Guzan, Tim Howard.
Defenders: Carlos Bocanegra, Jonathan Bornstein, Danny Califf, Frankie Hejduk, Oguchi Onyewu, Heath Pearce, Marvell Wynne.
Midfielders: DaMarcus Beasley, Michael Bradley, Ricardo Clark, Sacha Kljestan, Robbie Rogers, JosDe Francisco Torres.
Forwards: Jozy Altidore, Brian Ching, Charlie Davies, Clint Dempsey, Landon Donovan.
