Tara Hittle scored 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for her fourth career double-double as the University of Hawai'i women's basketball team rolled to a 64-48 Western Athletic Conference victory over San Jose State last night at the Stan Sheriff Center.

The Rainbow Wahine avenged an earlier loss to the Spartans to improve to 5-17 overall and 2-7 in league. The Spartans fell to 2-20 and 1-8.

Junior forward Dita Liepkalne scored 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting, and Megan Tinnin added 10 points and seven rebounds for Hawai'i.

The Rainbow Wahine next travel to Louisiana Tech and New Mexico State. UH faces Louisiana Tech on Friday and New Mexico State on Feb. 15.
