Surf movie filming in Hawaii

BoardRoom - Legends of Surfboard Shaping is currently filming in the Islands and is expected for a summer 2010 release.

The movie will preserve a piece of surfing history, said director Markus Davids in a press release.
Legendary surfboard shapers are being interviewed including Dick Brewer, Donald Takayama, Bing Copeland, Hap Jacobs, Mike Hynson and Rich Harbour.
Filming commenced on O�ahu with Harold Iggy, who has had a tremendous influence on surfboard designs, windsurfing boards and Stand Up Paddle boards, Davids said.
�During our interviews we not only dig deep into surfboard history but we also touch on Harold�s influence on modern board design,� Davids said.
Robert Bell is the producer and cinematographer is Robert Jax.
Interviews also include George Downing, Mike Eaton, Bob Olsen, Ben Aipa and T&C founder Craig Sugihara.
In California interviews will take place with other renowned board shapers Lance Carson, Dave Sweet and Micky Munoz.
