The National Weather Service has canceled a flash flood watch for the Big Island that included Oahu, Maui, Kahoolawe, Lanai and Molokai that it issued earlier today.

Today’s forecast called for heavy rainfall and flash flooding through this afternoon.
A flash flood watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. The watch will be canceled officially at 4 p.m.
