Adam Richman, host of "Man vs. Food," dropped in on several O'ahu restaurants recently and a special on his visit will debut Sept. 9 on the Travel Channel.

MAC 24-7 was one of his stops, where he accepted the challenge of finishing a three-tier stack of 14-inch pancakes within an hour an a half. The restaurant will host a "MAC-Daddy" event at 6 p.m. Sept. 9 during which the segment will be featured on six TV screens and, in addition, they're offering the opportunity for diners to accept the same challenge and win complimentary pancakes and a one-night stay at the Hilton Waikiki Prince Kuhio, where the restaurant is located. The event is from 5-7 p.m.
The episode will air on Oceanic channel 325.
In addition, the restaurant is premiering its Create-Your-Own Pancake Service, a topping trolley from which guests can devise their own pancake creations, choosing from 20 different toppings.
