Ex-President Bush stops by June Jones' SMU practice

DALLAS — Former President George W. Bush took SMU coach June Jones up on his offer and visited football practice in Dallas.
Bush, who has an undergraduate degree from Yale and an MBA from Harvard, stopped by practice Monday and even put on a red SMU hat.
The Dallas Morning News reports Bush was joined by SMU president R. Gerald Turner and the former president briefly address the players after the practice session.
Bush's presidential library will be built on the SMU campus. His wife, Laura Bush, is an SMU graduate.
