Punahou School today said an independent investigator was unable to corroborate allegations that a former Punahou dean was sexually involved with a student.
The allegations against a staff member were made in June via an anonymous e-mail sent to news organizations, and said a situation allegedly occurred five years ago.
“The investigator also concluded that the school administration had no prior knowledge of these alleged incidents. However, the employee did not cooperate with the independent investigation and is no longer at the school,” said a statement released by the school today.
