TONIGHT'S MUST SEES
“WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE” (7 P.M.) AND “DATING IN THE DARK” (8 P.M.), ABC.
Over the next two weeks, ABC will use its “Millionaire” marathon to boost the rest of its lineup. Tonight's hour leads into “Dating”; we meet six fairly attractive people, then (via special cameras) watch them date in darkness.
Tonight, two of the three guys – an aerospace engineer and an Israeli-born computer guy – have had lots if dating troubles. They join a guitar-playing paramedic.
The men are shown videos of the women's apartments, and vice versa. Five of the six pads are big and immaculate; one of the women has lots of clutter and ants. It adds up to an odd but interesting hour.
"TEEN CHOICE 2009" AWARDS," 7-9 P.M., FOX
Here's a show drenched with youth power. There are 12 nominations for “Twilight,” 10 for “High School Musical 3,” nine for the Jonas Brothers.
Naturally, the Jonases host. They also have those nominations, including ones for “male hottie” and “red carpet icon.” The casts of “Twilight” and “Glee” will be there; tentatively set to perform are Miley Cyrus and the Black Eyed Peas.
