The first set of WC-J130s, also known as Hurricane Hunters, arrived today at Hickam Air Force Base.

The Air Force Reserve planes came from Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss., and will be used to track Hurricane Felicia.
A total of five will be sent to Hawaii but only four will be put in service. Every 12 hours one plane will take off in a 48- hour rotation.
Meanwhile, the National Weather Service will use a smaller aircraft to drop instrumentation near Felicia starting tonight.
