Suspect sought in Ala Moana sex-assault case

Police are asking for the public's help in finding this man who is a suspect in a sexual assault case.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who allegedly touched a woman inappropriately in the parking lot of Ala Moana Center.

The woman, who was loading the trunk of her car about 7:30 p.m. Dec. 18, was approached from behind by a man she did not know, police said.
The said the man asked if she needed help, then reached under her skirt. The victim screamed and called for security. The man was last seen running toward the Barnes & Noble bookstore.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300, or *CRIME on cellular phones.
The suspect is described as being in his 30s, about 5-foot-8, 160 pounds with black, spiked hair.
He was wearing a blue-and-white aloha shirt, black pants and thin wire-frame glasses.
