Hawaii surf: Pick a spot — they're all good today

Surf along the north-facing shores of Oahu will be 4 to 7 today, the National Weather Service said.
Surf along south-facing shores will build to 5 to 7 feet with locally higher sets, while west-facing shores will build to 3 to 6 feet.
Surf along east-facing shores will be 3 to 4 feet with locally higher sets through today.
Outlook through Tuesday, May 5: The current mix of north to northwest swell will taper off slowly through the remainder of the work week.
A fresh northwest swell is due in late Friday, building to the head-high range along north-facing shores for the weekend with locally higher sets reaching 1 to 2 feet overhead.
Another more solid northwest swell will arrive late Sunday afternoon, building to double overhead with larger sets around 12 feet, but will stay below advisory levels of 15 feet.
A new southern hemisphere swell is building and will reach head-high range, with sets pushing 2 to 3 feet overhead along standout areas today.
The swell will taper off slowly into the weekend with plenty of waist- to shoulder-high surf around through at least Saturday.
