'Ha kam wi tawk Pidgin yet?' screening today

Waianae High School students, community members and university scholars will present a 30-minute filmby the teens and discuss Pidgin as a means of identity today.
The film "Ha Kam Wi Tawk Pidgin Yet" was put together by students who participate in Searider Productions, who were asked to research how much people still value pidgin when they are beiing pressured to conform to uniformity.
The showing is at 4 p.m. in the University of Hawaii-Manoa Architecture Auditorium and a reception follows.
