A 22-year-old Kane'ohe man was arrested Saturday night when he allegedly showed up for a planned sexual encounter with a 14-year-old girl with whom he had communicated on the Internet.

Police arrested the man at 8 p.m. in Kane'ohe on suspicion of first-degree electronic enticement of a child. Charges are pending.
