Tigers send Kamehameha alum Sardinha to minor league camp
LAKELAND, Fla. — The Detroit Tigers moved a step closer to completing their roster, sending outfielder Ryan Raburn and left-hander Clay Rapada to Triple-A Toledo on Wednesday.
The Tigers also assigned right-hander Scott Williamson and catcher Dane Sardinha to minor league camp.
Sardinha, a Kamehameha Schools alum, will stay with team during a road trip to Atlanta on Friday and Saturday, leaving the Tigers with 27 players in their major league camp.
