An area of high pressure will remain north of the state the next few days, keeping trade winds quite breezy, the National Weather Service said.
Showers will continue to favor windward and mauka areas, but may spread leeward from time to time, according to the forecast.
Scattered showers continued to pepper the windward and mountain regions of all the major Hawaiian islands early this morning. Some of these showers are spilling over to the leeward territory due in part of the stiff trades.
