The USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 2 will arrive tomorrow at Pearl Harbor for a brief port visit before the completion of the strike group's seventh-month deployment, the Navy announced today.

The Abraham Lincoln Strike Group has been supporting the 5th and 7th Fleet Maritime Security Operations and Theater Security Operations, as well as Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.

The 5th fleet flew more than 7,100 sorties and completed more than 22,000 flying hours in support of coalition forces.

"After nearly seven months on deployment supporting these important missions, I'm glad we have the opportunity to give the crew the liberty they earned," said Capt. Patrick D. Hall, USS Abraham Lincoln's commanding officer.

The strike group will depart to San Diego following its stay in Hawai'i before return to its homeport of Everett, Wash.
